Lemuria was an ancient civilization that existed before and during the time of Atlantis. Approximately 9,000 years ago, when the first physical evidence of evocative light emerged. Lemuria is believed to have existed largely in the South Pacific, between North America and Asia/Australia. Lemuria is sometimes referred to as Mu, the Motherland (of Mu).
